How real-time is the connection between NetSuite and vPlan?

The integration works via an active API connection. Changes in NetSuite (such as a new rush order) are visible almost immediately on the planning board. Feedback from the shop floor lands directly in your ERP, so the back office is never behind the times.

Do I need customization for this coupling?

No. Fortiqo uses a proven standard integration. However, it is flexible: we configure the triggers and data fields exactly based on your specific production or project process.

Should I track hours in both systems?

Certainly not. Employees record their time in vPlan's user-friendly interface. These hours are automatically forwarded to NetSuite for project administration and billing. This prevents errors and double entry.

The Workflow: From Order to Delivery

Step 1: Order input into NetSuite
Once a sales or work order is created in NetSuite, it is pushed directly to the "backlog" in vPlan via the API. No more overgetyp, no more errors.
Step 2: Visual scheduling
The scheduler sees the order appear immediately and assigns it to the correct employee, machine or workstation via drag-and-drop.
Step 3: Real-time Processing
Once an employee in vPlan starts or reports a task finished, the status in the NetSuite work order is immediately updated.
Step 4: Financial Settlement
Recorded hours and consumed materials are fed back from the schedule for razor-sharp post-calculation in NetSuite.
